Lakievia "Lucky" Johnson, MBA, CAPM, PMP

 Lakievia, also referred to as, “Lucky,” is the Founder & Lead Education Catalyst, or primary Educational Consultant, for STEPS Academic Advising & Education, LLC. Having served as a College Enrollment Specialist, Academic Advisor, Academic Success Coach, and Tutor, Lakievia has over seven years of experience in the field of higher education. She also has over 20 years of experience in customer service and youth advocacy work. 

 Lakievia holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing management, an MBA in management and strategy, a Post-Graduate Certificate in project management, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in strategic leadership. She has also earned two certifications from the Project Management Institute: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Project Management Professional (PMP). Furthermore, Lakievia holds memberships in multiple organizations:

• Project Management Institute (PMI)
• NACADA (The Global Community for Academic Advising). Student Member
• Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), Provisional Member
• Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), Associate Member 
• Life Design Institute

   Although she is an Independent Educational Consultant and Private Academic Advisor, Lakievia refers to herself as an Education Catalyst because her mission is to promote, inspire, and support immediate positive change in her students by providing sustainable, healthy, and consistent academic relationships, whether students desire to pursue traditional educational goals or not. Her passion for students, academics, motivation, and learning and development make her an excellent Education Catalyst and an asset to families and students of all ages.
