Ansley Whitaker is a Junior at UNC Charlotte studying accounting. She is passionate about financial literacy, various STEM subjects, and lifelong learning. As a freelance business consultant, and writer recognized by the Equal Justice Initiative, Ansley finds her success in researching problems and proposing solutions.
She got her start working with STEPS Academic Advising & Education, LLC before it even had a public logo or website. First, Ansley offered to share her time to help choose the STEPS logo and to proofread the website during its development. Then, Ansley ensured resources to encourage and support an environment of healthy, drug-free youth were accessible through the STEPS website via our Lifestyle Management Resources page.
Serving in a leadership role as our first Social Media & Services Executive, or SMS Exec, we are happy to have Ansley back on board with STEPS, and she is excited to start working with students and reaching out to the community to promote the academic support services we provide to help students. Ansley shares an appreciation for the STEPS values of Integrity, Continuous Growth, Relationships, Perseverance, Independence, Stability, Cultural Diversity, Accomplishment, and Innovation, and she has always done more, so she's an absolute asset to STEPS and all of our STEPS Students.
